What does it do?

The Shopify integration does the following:

• Bento Admin - Access the Bento Box administrative portal directly within the Shopify Admin portal, centralizing management of your e-commerce store.

• Deep integration of Selling Plans and Bento subscriptions - Shopify's Selling Plans are used to define subscriptions with Shopify. The Bento app adds a conversion layer that integrates Bento's complex subscription models within Shopify, maintaining the powerful features we offer.

• Keep Shopify as your source of truth - Utilize Shopify’s comprehensive tools for managing customers and products, with an extensive range of plugins. The Bento Box app ensures that Shopify remains the source of truth for your Bento Box platform via Bring Your Own Platform

• Everything you expect from Shopify - Continue to use Shopify’s numerous features and plugins just as you expect, without disruption.

What it does not give you:

• User interface for customers to manage their subscriptions - As Bento Box is a headless, subscription-first e-commerce platform, implementing user interfaces for customers to manage their subscriptions is necessary. Due to the dynamic nature of our Subscription Type model, a customised experience is essential for effectively presenting your offerings to customers.

• Integration with other Shopify subscription plugins - Our custom app may not be compatible with other subscription plugins in Shopify, due to specific functionalities of Shopify Subscription APIs.
