Subscription Contracts Explained

Here is the control centre for each of your customer's subscriptions. This form represents a unique contract that can be customised to fulfil the customer's needs. Below each section is broken down:

Details

This first section allows you to see the Subscription Name and Details which the customer has signed up for.

Customer Details

Here you can view and edit a customer’s Delivery Address and Payment Card.

Subscription Settings:

Here you can view and edit a few different things which are explained below:

  1. Subscription Status

A CC Agent has the autonomy to change the customer's subscription to any of these statuses. The only status that will allow a customer to receive orders is 'Active'. The others are different ways of being 'Inactive'.

Description

Active

A customer is receiving orders.

Paused

A customer/CC agent has changed a customer's status to paused. Orders will no longer be sent.

Ended

A customer has received all the orders available for this subscription. Orders will no longer be sent.

Suspended

A customer cannot receive any more orders due to an issue e.g. failed billing attempts.

Cancelled

A customer/CC agent has cancelled their subscription. Orders will no longer be sent.

  1. Anchor Date

The date on which all future orders are calculated.

  1. Override Next Order Number

If a customer asks to change the position on their playlist, then all you need to do is type the number (this field only accepts numerical data) of the position you would like them to skip to and all future orders will be adjusted based on this.

Warning

Changes to contents and order dates do not apply to orders currently being processed as the billing will already be taking place.

  1. Contract will end at the next billing attempt

Whether the contract ends when the customer is due to be billed again. If this box is ticked, a customer will not get charged again. E.g. if a customer has prepaid for 3 orders, and this box is ticked, once the final prepaid order has been delivered, we will not charge them again and their subscription will be cancelled.

Phase Subscription Settings Overview

This form allows you to configure the rules that a customer's subscription will follow, in this example, during the Trial phase.

Trial Details

  • Trial Identifier: Unique identifier for each phase (Example: 3ae0b74f-6901-46e0-8ac7-5fd19952d017).

Delivery

  • Delivery Cadence: Set the frequency of deliveries (Example: Every 12 days).

  • Cadence Application: Controlled by the Subscription Type. This cadence applies (Example: To 1 order) before a customer moves onto the following phase.

Billing

  • Billing Cadence: Choose the billing frequency (Example: Per order). How many orders a customer can prepay for in one go.

  • Discount (if prepaid): Controlled by the Subscription Type. This discount rate is applied depending on how many orders a customer prepays for.
