What are Box Rules?

This section provides a high-level description of each feature in our Box Rules system, what its benefits are, and an example of how it can be utilised.

Box Rules

Box Rules (Gift Rules) allow you to add additional products to a customer's order based on criteria set by you. This is great for elevating customer delight.

What can this be used for:

This can be used as a gifting mechanism or as a mechanism to manage your subscription playlist. The types of criteria you can add to a rule are things like date ranges, order numbers, and priority controls (if one rule is a P1 and the second rule is a P2, the P1 will take priority).

Example: You want to give your most loyal customers a thank you when they reach 10 orders. You can set a Box Rule to apply a free gift on a customer's 10th box. Or you might want to add different free samples to a customer's first, second and third orders so they can test out a range of your products.
